Dan Gibbons

Artist Statement

My work is an exploration of simple forms and shapes in functional pottery. All my current vessels are hand thrown in porcelain and trimmed down to give them a weightless character influenced by both Asian and Scandinavian aesthetics, they are coated in a clear, matte glaze to enhance the appearance of the food and drink they will contain.
