This exhibit explores the hidden world beneath Hamilton Harbour through underwater videos and still images capturing the serene and dynamic landscapes below the surface. The works reveal the interplay of light, movement, and life, from billowing weeds to drifting sediments, inviting viewers to connect with the rhythms of the Harbour’s underwater ecosystem.

Bio
Angela Busse is a multidisciplinary artist whose studio practice spans photography, traditional printmaking, and ceramics. Angela, known for her attention to detail, integrates modern and traditional techniques in a methodical approach that allows her to experiment with a wide range of technologies, both old and new, resulting in a diverse and innovative body of work.
Angela's educational background includes studies at the Ontario College of Art in the Fine Art Department and Humber College for Advertising Art. Her career has spanned graphic design and commercial printmaking, and she made a significant transition when she relocated from Northwestern Ontario to Hamilton to pursue a BFA in the Studio Arts at McMaster University. She graduated summa cum laude in 2018. In 2020, Angela received the City of Hamilton Arts Award for Emerging Artist in Fine Craft. She currently works from her eclectic studio in the Dye Works Building in the Cotton Factory and is the Director of Operations at Centre[3] for Artistic
and Social Innovation.
